Soulwork Rituals

The Power of Small Rituals in a Busy Life

Time commitment: 3 to 30 minutes

For a long time, I believed life had to be a constant grind—work, sacrifice, and survival. Growing up in an immigrant family, I saw this model firsthand: joy was secondary, rest had to be earned, and responsibility always came first.

But no matter how hard I tried to live that way, something in me resisted. I felt drained, disconnected, and like my soul was crying out—but I wasn’t listening. My intuition was off, my communication strained, and each day felt like a weight.

The world tells us to prioritize self-care, but the systems we live in rarely support it—especially when you’re a full-time working parent with no real pause. For years, I woke up and dove straight into chaos without a moment for myself.

That had to change. I began carving out tiny rituals—3 to 30 minutes a day—to ground, breathe, and reconnect. Slowly, I found clarity. I set boundaries. I spoke up. I felt joy and creativity return. And life started to feel like mine again.

These rituals don’t have to be big. They just need your presence. If you’re feeling lost, disconnected, or unsure how to feel again—start small. One moment of soul connection can shift everything.
