The Seeker Challenge
Back in January, I started a challenge to train my brain to notice heart shapes everywhere. What began as a daily practice has now become second nature—hearts appear on my walks, errands, and in random places as reminders that I am loved. This journey shows how you can rewire your mind with simple seeker challenges and find meaning in everyday moments.
I started this challenge back in January, training my brain to look for hearts everywhere I go. At first, it was tough because I kept forgetting. But the more I practiced daily, the more hearts I began to notice around me.
Fast forward nine months, and I no longer have to actively search for them. On my nature walks, or even while running simple errands—like tossing out the trash—heart shapes suddenly appear in unexpected places, catching my eye. I’ve shared some of those beautiful encounters below.
It feels like my brain now spots these shapes automatically. I don’t think about it; it’s become part of my subconscious. Because hearts carry meaning for me, they show up as little reminders: sometimes a gentle sign that the day is flowing well, other times a nudge on harder days that I am loved.
This practice has taught me that it’s possible to strengthen certain thought patterns until they weave themselves into your way of being.
You can try your own seeker challenge—pick a shape, a color, or a symbol, and look for it each day. See how your mind adapts, and what meanings begin to unfold for you.
